Well, after 6 years on the web, I'm finally taking the plunge into a blog. Sounds messy. Probably is.

First: I'm over 40, married, parental, employed. Female.

I've done this on Oprah's site but get the feeling that everybody who writes there is looking to be a clone of her. Her style ain't mine.

I have no idea whether I'll stay with this. It could help somebody else, and it could even help me.

My first and best advice to you and me: Get over yourself. Wish I'd learned this a bit sooner!
